Really? Again? and the End at Last

The next night, Cappy was put out in the arena for turnout, since the fence was 5' at the lowest.

He jumped out. Again.

We decided just turning him out with the others was best, since he was probably going to injure himself trying to get in with them, and he was "in with them" anyway!

Weeks went on, filled with powdery concoctions of un-tasty medicine. As Cappy finished his prescribed course, there were still a few doses of good ol' chicken antibiotic left in the bag. When I asked the vet, he said to keep using it until it was gone, if the horse would eat it.

So several days went by...

On the very last feeding, with the very last remnants, Cappy refused to eat his glop.

Apparently, he considered himself cured.

But of course, we weren't quite ready to get this party started yet...

Come on, already!! Let's get to the good part!
